Alaskan Airsoft Battlegrounds Participant Rules
General Rules
- Minimum Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 13 years old. Referees must be at least 15 years old.
- Waiver Requirement: All participants must sign a waiver before participating. Minors (under 18) must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
- Identification: Participants must present a valid ID to verify their age upon request.
- Respect for Referees: Referees’ decisions are final. Participants must respect and follow all instructions given by referees.
- Sportsmanship: Good sportsmanship is mandatory. Unsportsmanlike conduct, including but not limited to, cheating, aggressive behavior, or verbal abuse, will not be tolerated.
- No Alcohol or Drugs: Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Intoxicated individuals will be asked to leave the premises.
- Safety Briefing: All participants must attend a safety briefing before engaging in any airsoft activities.
Equipment Rules
- Approved Equipment Only: All airsoft guns and equipment must be approved by the arena staff. Personal gear is subject to inspection.
- Eye Protection: ANSI-rated full-seal eye protection must be worn at all times while on the field. No exceptions.
- Face Protection: Full-face masks are recommended. At a minimum, mouth and ear protection must be worn.
- FPS Limits: Airsoft guns must comply with the following FPS (Feet Per Second) limits:
- Automatic/Semi-Automatic Rifles: 400 FPS with 0.20g BBs.
- Pistols: 350 FPS with 0.20g BBs.
- Magazine Limits: High-capacity magazines (more than 300 rounds) are not allowed unless approved by the staff.
Gameplay Rules
- Hit Rules: When hit by a BB, players must call “Hit!” loudly and raise their hand or gun to signal their elimination. Players must then exit the field or follow the game’s respawn rules.
- No Blind Firing: Players must always have a clear line of sight to their target before shooting. Blind firing is strictly prohibited.
- Engagement Distance: A minimum engagement distance of 10 feet must be maintained. For close encounters, players should aim for non-sensitive areas or use a “bang bang” rule to indicate a close-range elimination.
- No Physical Contact: Physical contact, including pushing, shoving, or grappling, is strictly prohibited.
- No Unauthorized Areas: Participants must stay within designated play areas and are not allowed in staff-only or restricted zones.
- Honesty: Players must be honest and call their hits. Cheating will result in immediate removal from the game.
Conduct Rules
- Language: Use of offensive or inappropriate language is prohibited.
- Behavior: Aggressive behavior, including fighting, will result in immediate expulsion from the arena.
- Respect Property: Participants must respect the arena property and equipment. Intentional damage to property or equipment will result in fines and potential legal action.
- Cleanliness: Participants must keep the arena clean and dispose of trash in designated receptacles.
Emergency Rules
- Injury Reporting: Any injury, no matter how minor, must be reported to the staff immediately.
- Emergency Exits: Participants must be aware of all emergency exits and follow the staff’s instructions in case of an emergency.
Additional Rules
- Arena Rules Updates: Alaskan Airsoft Battlegrounds reserves the right to update or modify these rules at any time. Participants are responsible for staying informed of any changes.
- Compliance: Failure to comply with these rules may result in suspension or permanent ban from Alaskan Airsoft Battlegrounds.
